An Even Greater Taste Of Italy
People On Bikes had the pleasure of visiting this excellent cooking school, and we highly recommend it. The staff is outstanding, the food is wonderful, and the wine... Oh, the wine. As Sandra Lotti told me one evening, “This wine will bring you to your knees”. And, she was right.
To visit the school, you will have to register with them directly. But, People On Bikes will pick you up at the conclusion of the week and bring you to Milano where we can start our Taste of Italy tour in our Milano to Ravenna trip. To make this work the best, you’ll want to book your Toscana Saporita week for June 7th or September 13th. People On Bikes will pick you up on the Saturday morning and bring you to our hotel in Milano, which is approximately a 2.5 hour drive away.
We like the Toscana Saporita experience because of the people we met and the approach to cooking that was taught. You will learn about the origins of the foods, the layering of tastes, and the preparations required. We recommend Toscana Saporita because we enjoyed it so much. There is no reciprocal arrangement - we just think that Sandra Lotti does it right. But, you’ll want to do the school first and then we can work off any extra the following week on the bike!
