A dynamic and energetic country brimming with entrepreneurialism.  The growth and pace of Slovenia is contagious.  Experience the picturesque capital, Ljubljana, the spectacular beauty of Lake Bled, the serenity of Lake Bohinj, and the rolling hills of the Kras region as you ride towards Piran.  There is something for everybody in Slovenia - but you have to experience it to believe it!

Here is an overview of our exciting tour of Slovenia that we will offer in 2010:

Day 1 - You will be picked up at the Ljubljana airport and taken to Bled where we will enjoy a group dinner capped, perhaps, by drinks in the castle on the cliff.

Day 2 - Ride a beautiful circuit from Bled to Lake Bohinj and return to Bled.  During the ride, we will stop and take a tram to the top of Vogel Mountain for lunch and spectacular views.

Day 3 - The day begins with a boat ride on scenic Lake Bled to the island.  Riding today will take us to Kranjska Gora.

Day 4 - The opportunity to ride the spectacular Vrsic Pass (transportation will be provided for those that do not want to do the climb) and then down the other side into the Soca Valley.  That night we will stay in Nova Gorica.

Day 5 - Riding through the vineyards and rolling hills of the Karst region, we will enjoy beautiful vistas.  At the end of the day, we will reach Piran where we stay for the night and enjoy a group dinner.

Day 6 - A nice riding circuit on which we will ride beautiful valleys, visit castles, and explore spectacular caves.  At the end of our day, we will be Ljubljana for dinner and enjoy drinks at the castle on the hill.

Day 7 - A circuitous ride around the Ljubljana region to take in some of the local sites and amenities.  We will leave you some time to explore this beautiful city and provide you with a guided tour.  A group dinner along the river will cap this fabulous end of our trip together.

Day8 - People On Bikes will take you to the airport in Ljubljana for your departure, or help you on your way to your next destination.  It’s an easy hop to Venice or Croatia to continue your vacation.
